Week Seven

It is the start of Week Seven of house arrest. Being really busy at work is a big help — it does not feel like I have been sheltering in place for 6 weeks!

Loki has gotten used to having me around all the time. He starts the morning next to me, lying on an end table.

But is doesn’t take long before he retires to his tote bag.

We did have some excitement this week when a local barbecue restaurant’s food truck delivered to my condo:

But other than that, it has been business as usual!

I did start another knitting project:

This is Rowlock, designed by Norah Gaughan being knit from Rowan SoftYak DK. The color os off in the photo — it is a much deeper blue.

And that is the front — I finished the back last week!

  1. I believe this is the first time I’ve seen Loki with his eyes open!😁
I wish you lived near me here in Huntsville AL so I could learn to knit as well as you! The way you can take a pattern and adjust it so it it’s you or has features you prefer. 🍓💕🥰

  2. That line should say,”…and adjust it so it fits you better or has features you prefer, is something I’d like to know how to do, so I could insert/ change up the instructions.
I’m a Plus Plus size, but down 10 lbs. since this virus 🦠 keeps us home more! But, knowing how to upsize a pattern would be wonderful!♥️

  3. What brand of tote bag is that of Loki’s? My kitties may need one too!

  4. Dorothy in Kentucky says:

Loki looks quite happy!! And your sweater is gorgeous!! Stay safe!!

  5. LOVE THE CAT AS ALWAYS, he has such a personality! The sweater pattern looks like you have to keep an eye on the rows. I like it! We have to wear mask if we are out in the public, which is a good thing. My hands are getting pretty dried out from all the washing! UGH! It is nice you have your job! there are so many without one. We’re in a very sad state of affairs. Stay safe and healthy!! xo Linnie
