My current work in progress:

Seaforth designed by Alice Starmore, knit in British Breeds 5-ply Guernsey Wool on US 3 needles.

This is Week 14 of house arrest, I think. I’m starting to lose count!

A week ago, I finished this:

This is “Out and About” (the irony of the name right now has not escaped me), a wrap designed by Jennifer Weissman. I knit mine in Miss Babs “Kunlun” yarn in the “topaz” colorway.

Then I started this:

This is a block for the Picket Fence Afghan by Julia Farwell-Clay. I am making mine from Rowan SoftKnit Cotton, another fabulous yarn that is now discontinued.

I am knitting this as part of the MDK Socks and Blocks KAL. You can read all about the Socks and Blocks Knitalong here.

The block pictured above is my 8th block (out of a planned 20).

Here are the other seven!

And Loki is being as helpful as usual!

Check out the loose fur on the arm of the couch. It’s a never-ending battle.

  1. Wow! All your projects are great but I Love the Out and About, despite wondering if I will ever again be out and about. ☺

  2. You’ve been a busy gal! Like the wrap. It’s different . Was the pattern hard? Can’t figure how you knit so fast . Also you pick so many beautiful different colors to knit your sweaters. I did buy the Coofie pattern . I really liked the way your sweater came out. Stay safe!!!

Cats are most helpful with knitting when they are asleep, especially if they are in another room. Ithought those were clumps of stuffing, phew!

  4. Dorothy Bunch says:

Absolutely gorgeous!! And your afgan looks fun!! Ans as usual Loki is living the good as only a kitty should!!

  5. Charlottewv says:

Your “out and about” wrap is very pretty, and the Picket Fence looks like it would be interesting to knit. And as always, Loki, is such an adorable purrbabe. ❤️🐾😊.

  6. Elaine in NYC says:

Every now and then I think of that afghan. Better loose fur than claw shreds. Just sayin . . .

  7. Elaine in NYC says:

Every so often I think of this afghan. Better loose fur than claw shreds. Just sayin . . .

  8. Loki looks likes he’s been wielding the vacuum cleaner all day, Wendy. Give him a break! Love the colors of your Picket Fence. So unusual in a good way. Really love your shawl. Both beautiful and COZY.
