This is Lynsey, a pattern from Jamieson & Smith, knit from Elsawool Cormo fingering weight lambswool.

Next up, a far more complex fair isle. Stay tuned!

  6. Such a gorgeous sweater!🤩
    Your handsome Loki looks impressed
as well .💋. I had to put my sweet male Siamese down
last week & Im devastated 😢 His sibling
    And I miss him terribly..

  7. I am so glad I subscribed to this blog! It’s just so inspiring to see the parade of projects! and it gets me knitting faster myself. This latest is gorgeous.

  8. Beautiful sweater and ready for fall. But more complex ? You do love to challenge yourself.

  9. Such a handsome sweater, Wendy! Isn’t is so calming to knit in those neutrals?

  10. What an amazing closeup of Loki!! And your knitting is, as always, impeccable, Wendy. Just in time for the start of fall tomorrow.

  11. Beautiful sweater! A classic. Very good pic of Loki – but then, he’s so photogenic!

  12. Susan Shelly says:

I’m impressed! But Loki seems to just take your skills for granted!☺️

  13. Charlottewv says:

    Beautiful sweater—and beautiful Loki! ❤️🐾🧶😊

  14. Loki appreciates that you’ve finally knit a sweater in his exact colors. Meow.

  15. It’s a fair isle bananza! I’m glad I’m not the only one who choses projects based on the construction technique(s). It’s inspiring to see your beautiful makes. I’m planning on a fair isle project as well. Christmased themes because I’m a slow knitter.

  16. I’m totally jealous that you can knit and wear these fair isles…..ever since I became a post-menopausal human I’ve been suffering with intractable hot flashes (10+ years now), and cannot wear anything with a crew neck or heavy weight. I have lovely sweaters languishing in our attic….. Your pieces are stunning!
