I was digging through my archives last night (looking for a recipe I posted last December) and I came across a photo of my hair I posted shortly after I started using henna on it. December 14 of last year:
And here is a picture of it today.
I’d no idea it had grown so much — even having had 2 haircuts in the last year.
What a Difference a Day Makes
Yesterday it was raining and miserable.
The sky this morning:
There appears to be something flying through the sky there. I wonder what it was? Not a plane or helicopter — this is a no-fly zone.
Droid Question
In the comments Lisa asked:
About the Droid…how are you finding the battery life? I would really like to get one, but that is the one thing holding me back. I keep hearing that the battery dies really quickly and has to be recharged a lot. What do you think?
The answer, like so many things in life is . . . it depends.
It depends, of course, on usage.
If you have gps and wifi turned on and a bunch of apps running, your battery is going to drain more quickly than if you don’t. I keep gps and wifi turned off because I don’t use it all the time. There are apps you can get that put a switch on the Droid desktop to enable you to quickly turn off gps, wifi, etc.
I don’t spend all day on my phone. A typical day for me includes a few calls, a bit of websurfing and news checking, email checks a couple of day. At the end of the day I have 90% battery power.
It’s All Over Except the Bind-off
And binding off I am. Or I will be momentarily.
